RIVER OAKS OWNERS ANNUAL MEETING – Thursday, February 23, 2017
The River Oaks annual meeting will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the clubhouse at 7:00 PM. All residents are encouraged to attend. You should have received a mailing in December 2016 notifying you of the meeting along with your invoice for semi-annual assessments. The meeting agenda includes the approval of the 2017 Budget, reports by the various committees and the election of directors to serve on the board of directors for 2017. The Association By-Laws require the election of directors on an annual basis. We have two board members that have decided not to have their names placed in nomination for re-election. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please contact Jim Rowalt or any present board member prior to the meeting. Nominations from the floor will be accepted. The Restrictive Covenants provide that owners who owe money to the Association, (regular and special assessments, late fees, legal fees, etc.) do not have the right to the use of community facilities and cannot vote on any Association matters, unless they have made payment arrangements with the Board.
