River Oaks Estates in Covington, La. is one of the Northshore’s premier communities. Nestled in the dense stands of stately oaks and pine trees, River Oaks is home to more than 275 families. New street signs, speed limit signs, Children at Play and No Outlet signs with ornamental post  were installed in 2013.

River Oaks Estates is easy to find and a good place to live.  River Oaks is located just 6 miles off of Causeway Bridge.  As easy commute into the City.

The  River Oaks Recreational Center includes a large swimming pool, clubhouse, children’s playground area nd tennis courts.

In 2019 River Oaks added Radar controlled speed devices on River Oaks Drive.  The Speed Signs indicate to drivers how fast they are traveling.  When exceeding the speed limits, drivers are warned by flashing lights.
